Project Overview
We installed a full-flake epoxy patio flooring system on a residential patio in the Wichita area. The homeowner wanted to know whether the same durable flooring used indoors could also protect an outdoor living space, and the answer was a clear yes.
The Challenge
Outdoor concrete faces a tougher set of conditions than an interior garage or basement floor. Because Kansas deals with direct sun, rain, freeze-thaw cycles, the homeowner needed a coating that could hold up outdoors.
The Solution
LuxCrete installed the same full-flake epoxy system we use in industrial and residential interior applications, engineered to protect concrete wherever it’s exposed to wear. The multi-layer, full-broadcast construction gives the patio a textured, slip-resistant surface, while the sealed topcoat protects against UV exposure and moisture.
The Result
